Maggie Milsom is an Associate Clinical Counsellor with MindRight Counselling & Consulting. She has a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology, specializing in Vocational Rehabilitation from the University of British Columbia. She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). Maggie has worked with youths and adults struggling with challenges ranging from depression, anxiety, panic attacks, substance abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence, and anger management. She has worked collaboratively with families at Moving Forward Family Services, the Vancouver Police Department, and agencies supporting individuals recovering from substance use. Maggie also has experience working with First Nations communities managing anger management groups with John Howard Society. She has a general background in providing vocational assessments and rehabilitation.

Maggie primarily utilizes a Rogerian approach by encouraging a collaborative effort between the client and the counsellor. Also, she has experience in Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, and Psychodynamic Therapy.

Maggie is also a graduate of the Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts and has studied film and theatre at various studios in Vancouver for over fifteen years.
