Sara Arwin is an Associate Clinical Counsellor with MindRight Counselling & Consulting. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
Sara has worked in private practice and with the BC Society of Male Survivors of Sexual Abuse (BCSMSSA). She has volunteered at the Crisis Intervention & Suicide Prevention Centre of BC in Vancouver BC for over three years providing crisis intervention to individuals. She is well versed in providing treatment and support to adults struggling with childhood trauma, PTSD, substance use and addictions, anxiety, depression, and various other mental health challenges.
Sara knows it takes a tremendous amount of courage to begin to think about change, and sometimes, change is in our control, but at times changes occur as a result of life events. These life events affect every aspect of our daily lives. She adopts a Holistic Integrative Approach in her clients’ healing journey. She integrates counselling approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing into her practice.
Sara offers services in English, Farsi, and Dutch.
