Laila Lee is an Associate Clinical Counsellor with MindRight Counselling & Consulting. She received her Master of Counselling degree from the City University of Seattle in Canada. Laila is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
Laila has provided therapy to adolescents and adults living with anxiety, depression, brain injuries, chronic pain, stress, low self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, interpersonal issues, and relationship issues. Laila utilizes a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to the individual needs of her clients. Laila is passionate about taking a collaborative and person-centered approach in therapy. She works with clients to build on existing strengths while sharing new skills and practical coping strategies to improve well-being.
Born in Taiwan, Laila later immigrated to Canada. Laila’s life experiences inform her empathy for people navigating transitions and relating to cultures different than their own. She enjoys providing a safe space that is warm, empathetic, and non-judgemental.
