Kevan Low is an Associate Clinical Counsellor with MindRight Counselling & Consulting. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counselling from Gonzaga University and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
Kevan has worked with older and young adults struggling with substance abuse, mental health and sexual identity for various non-profit organizations. He uses various models that encourage self-compassion, self-improvement, and self-confidence.
Kevan works from a Choice and Realistic therapeutic approach which values individual autonomy and grounds solutions. He incorporates other counselling approaches such as CBT, CFT, Motivational interviewing, DBT and Solution-Focused Therapy into his practice. He is open-minded and non-judgmental in helping individuals feel comfortable in a safe space. He will collaborate with individuals to support them through their various stressors and work towards their personal goals.
