Dr. Sharon Shacham Dupont earned her Masters’ Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Rhode Island and her Doctorate in Experimental Psychology from the University of Bristol. She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). Her specialty areas include relationship counselling, both individual and couple, anxiety, depression, and sexual trauma. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Therapy to assist clients in adopting more positive ways of thinking. In addition, she uses the Psychodynamic approach’s attachment styles effect on information processing. She has lived in five countries: Israel, France, the United States, England, and Canada. She speaks English, French, and Hebrew fluently, and through her experience in each country, she has become very aware of cultural differences and influences on individuals. She has four children and one dog, with whom she enjoys spending as much time as possible. Besides her family, she enjoys exercising and reading. Everyone deserves a safe environment to express their feelings; she is happy to provide this space.
