Brittany MacCartney is an Associate Clinical Counsellor with MindRight Counselling & Consulting. She obtained her Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology at Adler University and is registered with BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) as a Clinical Counsellor.
Brittany is working to become a certified sex therapist through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT). She works with adults and adolescents on topics ranging from sex, sex work, sexuality, queer-identity, polyamory, life transitions, childhood trauma, medical trauma, panic/anxiety all with a trauma-focused lens and trauma-informed background of study.
Brittany also works with couples drawing from Sue Johnson’s Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Which features attachment based interventions grounded within finding empathy, compassion, and care for both yourself and your partner.
Be it individual or couples counselling, Brittany seeks to create a dialogue and space that helps our innermost selves to feel seen, understood, loved, and, unburdened.
